My passion for planning and organizing started at a very young age, five years old to be exact. My mother told me that as a little girl, I would wake up in the morning and the first thing I wanted to do was call my friends to start setting an agenda for the day.
For as long as I can remember I've taken pride in coordinating events both small and large. I find joy in the little details and believe there is something tremendously magical and rewarding about a flawlessly executed event.
Originally from northern Michigan, I now call California home after living in the Bay Area for the last decade. After receiving a BA in Supply Chain Management + Marketing from Michigan State University, I began my career in Sales and spent the last 11 years specializing in Meeting + Event Planning. My experience ranges from working for start ups, non-profits and Fortune 500 companies. I have managed events in the non-profit, tech, financial, legal, pharmaceutical, bio-tech and sports marketing industries.
By founding Button It Up Events, I now fully embrace my entrepreneurial calling. I work as an independent contractor to assist clients with comprehensive event management or as an extension of on-site event staff, both domestically and internationally. Together with my passion and enthusiasm, I aim to give my clients a truly unparalleled experience and you can be assured that your event will be in the best hands. Personally, I find joy in traveling the globe with my husband and raising our sweet pea daughter, hiking, practicing yoga, learning Polish and finding purpose through working with amazing local and international non-profits.
